Men's Ministry
All men are invited to participate in sports like softball and basketball, mens’ Saturday Morning study groups, Prayer Breakfasts and Work Days.
These times of fellowship, study, and accountability help men to grow in the grace of the Lord.
Our district camp, Delta Lake Bible Conference Center, sponsors a Men’s Retreat in the fall. Men can also participate in prison, homeless shelter, CareNet pregnancy center and Bible distribution ministries.
Women's Ministry
All women are invited to our weekly Bible Study on Wednesday mornings and monthly Alliance Women meetings on the third Sunday (Missions Sunday) at 9:50 AM. Nursery care is provided by request at all meetings. Our district camp, Delta Lake Bible Conference Center, sponsors two Women’s Retreats (Spring and Fall) each year. Women can also participate in prison, homeless shelter, CareNet pregnancy center and Bible distribution ministries.
Seniors' Ministry
We appreciate the wisdom that God gives to us through our older saints. Ten months a year we provide a "Beautiful People’s Lunch", usually on the third Monday at Noon. Our district camp, Delta Lake Bible Conference Center, sponsors a “Senior Saints” retreat in June. In August, Primetime, our national seniors’ ministry, sponsors a week-long event
180 Student Ministry
180 (7th-12th grades) meets to have fun, be taught Biblically and to worship together. These activities, service events, and study groups help our youth grow in the Lord. 180 meets together Thursday nights from 6:45-8:30. There are exciting events each month that provide time for group discussion and friendships. Our district camp, Delta Lake Bible Conference Center, sponsors Junior High and Senior High winter retreats as well as several weeks of Camp during the summer.
Children's Ministry
Our children are precious to Jesus and to us, so we provide a special ministry for them each Sunday. Our nursery, as well as the 2 & 3 year old room, always has competent personnel to serve your child. Please pick up our nursery guidelines when you drop off your child. During our informal worship service, we provide Children’s Church for up to third grade. Tuesday Nights Tree Climbers (K-3) and TeamKIDS (4th- 6th) help kids have fun and learn about Christ during the school year. Vacation Bible School is the first week in August. Our district camp, Delta Lake Bible Conference Center, offers week-long summer camps for grades 3-6.
Deeper Life Groups
Everyone is invited join a Deeper Life Group. These informal times of fellowship, fun, learning and prayer are important to spiritual growth. The various groups meet regularly on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM, and at other different locations and times, to provide a caring community of believers committed to changing lives.
The group four-fold purpose is to pray for each other, develop accountability, study the Bible applying what is taught and perform service projects.
Missions Emphasis
Our Mission Team brings the needs of the world to the church family: weekly in the worship service through prayer requests and Mission Moments, monthly through Sunday School presentations, quarterly by mission speakers, and annually in our fall Missions Festival. We also supply scholarships to summer camp and for short-term missions trips. Please plan your trip now to serve the Lord in missions
Prayer Emphasis
We believe that prayer is the first work. We need everyone to pray. We come together for prayer twice monthly on the second and fourth Monday nights at 7:00. We also pray in our Deeper Life Groups. Every Sunday we can let people know our prayer requests by filling out the yellow Welcome Card. We put these requests together, sending copies by mail and e-mail to all who desire this list.
Special Events
Periodically we have special outreach movies, Valentine and Christmas Banquets, Family Nights, and picnics. Special worship services include Good Friday, Resurrection Morning Worship and Breakfast, Thanksgiving Eve and Christmas Eve. Please call the church office at (845) 454-2580 if you have any questions.
